A traditional Church meeting contemporary needs, joyously witnessing the Gospel of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Welcome to the First Baptist Church of Lady Lake, where Christianity confronts our culture. We are different. We are a Bible believing church applying the Bible to current events, current needs, and current times. It is for this purpose that I believe our paths intersect. Our meeting is not an accident but a divine appointment, so we want to express Christ's love to you with genuine warmth. We believe you will discover that our fellowship is truly a family, rich in the relationships that matter most. Growing together, we worship, we serve, we laugh, we cry, we learn, and we reach out to our world with life and culture-transforming truth.

If you've been thinking, praying, searching, and hoping for a place to belong, we say again - Welcome!

                                                                                                           In His service,
Dr. Paul B. Harsh, II, Senior Pastor

What We Believe

We believe the Bible to be the inspired, infallible, authoritative Word of God. We believe God's Word to be inerrant in the original writings. We believe that there is one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.

We believe that the lost and sinful man must be saved, and that man's only hope of redemption is through the shed blood of Jesus Christ, the Son of God. Although baptism is not a requirement for salvation, we believe that every Christian should be baptized by immersion in water. We also believe in the regular celebration of Holy Communion as commanded by our Lord.

We believe in the present ministry and baptism of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a Godly life. We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the unsaved; those that are saved into the resurrection of life and those that are unsaved into the resurrection of damnation.

We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.
We beliveve in the Biblical mandate to be "salt and light" in a culturally depraved and immoral world.
We commit to build up one another in the love of Jesus Christ, sharing his mercy and grace, encouraging one another in their faith and in good works.
