The church is God’s people and God’s Family. At First Baptist Church of Lady Lake, we never forget that each of us are part of God’s larger family.
“For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.”
With the Bible as our text for life, everything we teach and preach reveals, explains, and applies the Bible to our personal experiences as we seek to live for the Lord in the world around us. Our emphasis is on accuracy and practicality.
"Fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the whole duty of man."
As Christians, our values must align with the Word of God, the Bible. These must include what we do, as expressed in the Bible.
"But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such thing there is no law."
It is through the Bible that God reveals Himself to His church and to the world. At the First Baptist Church of Lady Lake we firmly believe in practical Bible teaching to equip God’s people for victory today and in the eternal life to come. Teaching God’s Word is the backbone and foundation of God’s church.

Join us as we explore deeper Biblical Truth to prepare the believer to face challenges of the faith.
Word of Life (WOL) Youth & Teen Ministry is for children from pre-school through senior in high school. Each lesson, no matter what the topic, always has a three-fold purpose. To give a clear Gospel presentation of salvation in Jesus Christ; To encourage our children to grow in their walk with God and reach others with the Gospel of Jesus Christ; To encourage our children to surrender their lives to whatever God has called them to do.
Prayer is the heart of a Christians growth; join us as we gather to pray for the world, our country and each other.

Studying the Bible: Sheep Packing Heat (Part 1)
Follow along as Brother Mark Johnson introduces us to the process of Hermeneutics (the study and understanding of the Bible). We are all called to study God's Word. In 2 Timothy 2:15, the Apostle Paul was inspired to teach, "Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth." Hermeneutics is our way to obey God. Modern hermeneutics deals with Bible interpretation, semiotics, and dealing with presuppositions and pre-understandings.
The Book of Revelation will be the first of our online teaching ministries. Watch for it to start soon (coming in May 2019)!
